Interactive 3D for e-commerce

With advancements in technology, we now have the privilege of incorporating 3D elements seamlessly into websites, thanks to JavaScript libraries like Three.js.

It's intriguing to note that despite these capabilities, the widespread adoption of 3D elements on websites, especially in contexts where the physicality of objects is crucial, such as in e-commerce, is not yet common.

Recognizing the potential of 3D to significantly enhance the user experience, I delved into this realm and created a mock-up entirely in 3D. The process began with conceptualizing a basic layout using Figma, and from there, I crafted a design that prioritized a mobile-first approach before expanding seamlessly to desktop. This exploration underscores the untapped possibilities of integrating 3D elements to not only elevate aesthetics but also to enrich user interaction, particularly in scenarios where a tangible representation of objects can play a pivotal role.
